The Opportunity A great opportunity for a compassionate and proactive Clinical Manager to oversee and support the delivery of high-quality service to our clients. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day practice operations, ensuring excellent client care, leading a team of multifaceted practitioners, including counsellors, social workers, domestic violence specialists and behaviour change specialists. The role also involves close collaboration with other healthcare and allied health professionals, government departmental agencies and community stakeholder to provide excellence in service delivery.   Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Actively contribute to the organisation’s leadership by being a solution-focused leader
  • Ensure the integrity of data and information available to clients
  • Participate in developing a supportive and safe working environment
  • Lead and oversee the recruitment and establishment of new staff
  • Provide strength-based, person-centred supervision and leadership to the clinical team
  • Oversee the implementation of the organisation’s monitoring, evaluation & accountability governance

  About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, counselling, psychology or a related field
  • A recent clinical history in domestic violence practice with solid understanding of the requirements with DV crisis response
  • Proven experience in healthcare administration or operations management
  • Superior and effective energetic leadership, communication, collaboration, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills
  • Understanding of budgeting, and quality improvement processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Proven capacity to represent the organisation in public forums
  • Well-developed analytical and technical ability
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and monitoring risk
  • Ability to interpret and understand multiple levels of legislative documents
  • Ability to manage stressful work environments
  • Experience in working with personal and sensitive information and maintaining confidentially
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Current Qld Working with Children Check – ‘Blue Card’.
